Introduction:
Initial findings from the trial indicated that ME-344 showed clinical activity, with several patients achieving partial responses and prolonged stable disease. The treatment was generally well tolerated, with manageable side effects, including fatigue and gastrointestinal symptoms. Notably, a subgroup of patients with high tumor mutational burden demonstrated enhanced responses to ME-344, suggesting a potential biomarker for selecting patients who may benefit most from the therapy. The trial is ongoing and may provide valuable insights into its role in oncology and its ability to impact cancer metabolism.
